A short car buying course in dealership selection
The quality of service and prices can vary dramatically from dealership to dealership. First it’s a good idea to identify what’s important to you. Here is my list of what I want form a car dealership.
- I want the price I can buy it for up front and fast.
- I want to know the price they will pay me for my trade in advance and in writing.
- My time is valuable. I want the car brought to me to test drive.
- I want term, payments, down payment, and rate all spelled out for me in writing, emailed or faxed to me before I come in to buy the car.
- I want to know if I’m approved for credit (in writing) before I come in.
- I want a guarantee that when I take delivery of my new car I’ll get in and out of the dealership stop watch fast.
- I want the car cleaned inside and out with a full tank of gas waiting for me.
Sound impossible? It is very possible when you know how to find the right dealership.
Ford dealerships vary greatly and finding the right one will save you a lot of time and money.
